abortion access resources

On June 24, 2022, the United States Supreme Court announced its decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and eliminate the right to abortion after almost 50 years. This will lead to total bans on the procedure in about half of the states in our country.

These decisions are retrogressive, environmentally destructive, and threaten the well-being of our communities. It’s an intentional power grab to take away people's choices. The Supreme Court’s choice reverses generations of progress in reproductive, gender, and racial justice. When Black women are 3x more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes, this is not just an attack on a person’s right to choose.

If you are here today showing up for the climate movement, recognize that the reproductive justice movement is directly connected. Whether you have reproductive organs or not, this is also your movement.
